    Our monthly tournament is on again on Fri. feb 24th.This is our 4th end of month tourney and this one will have a celeb feel to it as Steven Hendry,Steve Davis and Ken Doherty will all be playing in it.the last 3 sold out so i fully expect this one to be a sell-out as well.

    1.Run by Cue club card rooms.
    2.Commertial venture.
    3.Friday Feb.24th.Cueclub card rooms,Killarney.
    4.Reg...7.00pm cards dealt---8.00pm(sharp).
    5.new players will have to fill membership form(no charge).
    6.tickets can be purchased prior to the event. max. no.---70.
    7.Texas-holdem no linit tournament.
    8.entry fee-€50 rebuy/top-up €50.
    9.reg fee--€10.
    10.100% of entry fee,rebuys and top-ups to the prize-pool.
    11.€7,000 guaranteed .
    12.2 rebuys allowed---1 top-up.freeze-out after level 5(150-300 blinds).
    13.3,750 starting chip.
    14. 4,000 chips for re-buy. 5,000 chips for top-up.
    15.25-50/50-100/75-150/100-200/150-300/200-400/300-600/400-800
    600-1,200/800-1500/1000/2000/1500-3000/2000-4000/3000-6000
    4000-8000/6000-12000/8000-15000/10000/20000.
    16.1st five blinds will be 20mins, all blind levels after that will be 25mins.
    17.one all seven tables are full,(70 players),all 9 at final table get paid.
    all prizes will be cash.
    18.dealers at all tables with a good level of skill.
    19.there is a documented list of rules.
    20.connie o sullivan is T.D.
    21.in the event of any dispute,connies decision will be final.

    Sure those snooker players will probaly run a mile when they hear the name Connie O'Sullivan. Sounds too like the other for them I'd say.

    Hello dave,I suppose I could put a bounty on the 3 lads but bounty or not, everyone will be busting a gut to try to put them out anyway.We usually have a bounty on the night so we might as well put it on one of the celebs if not all.Any preferences as to which one? lol

    Like you said I think everyone will be eager to Knock the celebs out, tbh I'd like to see a bounty on all of them, but ultimately tis your decision ;), let us know what you decide.

    Connie is on the snooker circuit this week and can't get to a pc. He asked me to post that this event is now sold out with a waiting list for cancellations. Players of note are the 3 aforementioned snooker pros, Joe O'Neill and our own Nicky O'Donnell. In fact there will be quite a few board members playing so here's hoping one of them can pick up the main prize. Will post on the night if any boardies are going well.

    On an unrelated note, the weekend festival is fixed for the weekend of 31/3-2/4. More details to follow.
