Charity Cycle

    A friend is asking:

"I've been asked by my mates if I'll cycle with them from Manchester to Blackpool, for charity, in July. Now I've not ridden a bike(not 1 with 2 wheels anyway) since I was about 13.

What would the chances be of me being able to cycle 64 miles in July if I started training sometime soon?"

    Any ideas guys?

No idea of the geography but if it's flat then it shouldn't be any bother whatsoever. How unfit is he? If he's in any form of decent shape or plays any sport minimal training will be needed for 64miles. Just make sure you have your bike set up right, 64miles isn't very far and should only take a few hours.
