It will only pick up signals near the border or on the east coast where they overspill form the UK and note :

"Language choice: English, Welsh & Gaelic"

    (Scots Gaelic :p )

So its a gamble as to whether it'd work or not ... Does it require linking to a dish or is it supposed to plug-and-play .... Might go for it if its just a plug in jobbie.

IT is Terrestrial Digital. Does not need card. But would need huge mast and TV aerial receiving from Wales or N.I. Unless you get perfect ordinary BBC/ITV via aerial from UK it won't work, as the UK Digtal Terrestrial TV signals are weaker than ordinary TV signals.

Won't work at all on Irish TV signals, Cable TV, MMDS or satellite Dish.

....although something may launch this year or next in Ireland and it won't be TV3 :p .

Basically if the BBC and ITV are not already coming in load and clear to your house, from a UK transmitter , then you can forget Freeview.

Think I'll leave it so ... we use NTL Cable (Pipe) Connection .. so have no aerial ... Cheers for the info. guys
