i changed the srings on suday night, all was grand till i started to tune it back when the 4 fret started to buzz after they tuned up to standered. when i laided it down i noticed that one side of the tail piece was sticking out more than the other, so i losened the strings again and put it back into place. when i had all the strings tuned again it came out of place again. what sould i do its just over a year old. it is much loser than the otherside .

could you possibly be more specific as to what's actually happening. Have any screwthreads worn away on the bridge posts or anything?

Is it the actual bushing for the tailpiece screw which is coming up out of the body?

Provided you don't ever plan on removing/replacing it, you can just reset it into the wood with some epoxy glue. It won't budge ever again. Take your time and only use a teeny bit of glue and you'll be fine.

what are these brushs need for. will they eventually need to be replaced.

The grooves are supposed to bite into the wood in the same way as a screw, but the hole it's in is slightly too big, so they don't have any purchase on the wood and, as a result, come out when minimal upwards force is applied by tightening the strings.

You could potentially cause some significant damage if you don't.
