Opinions on the Coolpix 8800

Just looking to see what people's oponions are on the coolpix 8800.I recently got one and have been playing around with it.Finding the write speed a little slow, when i'm useing it on full size and RAW. Is this just due to the large size of the photo? Is there anything anyone heard about the camera?
