As far as I know EVERYWHERE was upgraded last month. There must have been problems with your exchange which took until now to be sorted!

The whole country got upgraded on Jan 20th/21st but some exchanges had problems. Maybe yours has just been done.

Speaking of doubled up, has anyone else noticed their connection behaving faster then it should? I have been upgraded to 2/256. Once when downloading OpenOffice, I did something on the router and it dropped the connection to the internet briefly. This canceled my download halfways through. I tried again and Firefox showed a download of 9128K until it "caught up" to where it left off. No problems there. But it started downloading then at 386K slowing down to 368 (this was about 50% of the download down at this point). It gradualy slowed to 270KBytes/sec and stayed their till it completed. I assume that this was a bug in firefox only, that I have had this happen repeatedly on other downloads after I updated firefox to the latest version. It would download at a speed between 260-320KBytes/sec. This does not happen often but it it happens mostly when I am downloading late at night.

That's just firefox's speed counter being crap. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del and go to the networking tab if you want to see what speed you're actually downloading at. Go to View - Select Columns. Then choose Bytes received / interval and bytes sent / interval.

They'll let you know what speed you're actually getting. The interval will be .5 second, 1 second, 2 seconds or 4 seconds depending on what update speed you've chosen, you can work from there.
