    Hi,
I know there have been threads on this before but does anyone know what the current cheapest source is to buy memory sticks from?

    Any feedback would be appreciated:)

Saw a 1gb in HMV for €109 today. Seems prety low for a place like that.

Ooops. Sorry, meant to request for 4GB sticks only:o

    Thanks for the feedback though!

4GB sticks aren't out yet. There's a horrible hard-drive attachment, but you should probably avoid that.

ok, it's not for me, I'm not to up to speed on PSP accessories. What's the best for his money do you reckon? Is there a 2gb one?

    Thanks for the feedback!

What does he want it for? Save games, with a movie and the occasional music album? If so, a 1gb card is more than enough - you can fit a whole movie (or a few episodes of a TV series) at perfectly fine quality, as well as a couple of albums worth of music tracks.

If he wants it to carry around a large amount of mp3s or whatever, there is a 2gb stick, usually retails for upwards of 200e, I think.

4gb and 8gb sticks are planned for this year, but will probably be quite expensive.

2gb are the biggest widely available MS Duo's. The cheapest source when I was buying my 1gb was eBay, try there.

Why are the memory sticks so dear? Can they be used on the PS3, what other uses are they? I am thinking of getting one, but I don't see the point if I only use it every so often. Advice needed. Thanks.
