    I'm off to Brazil in April for 10 days, just wonderin is there anything in particular i should know before going.. I know i've to get jabs soon, just waiting on details. It's an organised trip so insurance is included.

    Were I to go back to Rio I would stay in Ipanema again. Very cosmopolitan compared with shabby Copacabana.

    In fact I would stay away from Copacabana altogether because it's still kind of dangerous, although you make your own luck to a certain extent. Ipanema (and Arpoador) are much more secure, and they're nicer beaches as well.
