I'm going to be in Italy in April around Tuscany. I'll be there for a week and was hoping to maybe get to visit Maranello.

Has anyone been? I assume there has to be some sort of a museum there or something open to the public.

There is a really good museum there. Check here. There's also a really famous restaurant in the town where Enzo, and all the drivers up to the present have eaten when they are at the factory. The name escapes me at the moment, but you should be able to find it, and it is certainly worth the visit!

Ah yes I’ve been there and to that restaurant.

    The Evidence ! : :p

Anyway there's the restaurant, a Ferrari museum, a Ferrari shop, the Ferrari factory, and the Fiarano circuit. Excellent place, although it should be called Ferrariville.

The Cavallino Restaurant is directly opposite the Ferrari factory and all the big names from Ferrari eat there albeit in a separate room out back.

The museum has every road car and F1 car from Ferrari History on display and is very interesting.

The shop has a lot of Ferrari memorabilia including some signed stuff but bring your credit card !

You can stand outside the Ferrari factory if you like and take a photo but thats all the access you'll get afaik.

Dunno about access to the track, when I was there the were plenty looking over fences and the like .. dunno if you can get in. The F1 factory is also on the Fiarano Circuit grounds, as well as Enzo Ferrari's home.
