this has probably been done to death but what game is your alamo?

the game you generally always go back to when things are going tits up, when varience rears it's ugly head and you just want to grind out a small profit...

i was gonna do a poll but here's the options:

    1. Short handed limit ring
    2. short handed no limit ring
    3. full limit ring
    4. full no limit ring
    5. short handed stt
    6. full stt
    7. mtt
    7. omaha full
    8. live cash games
    9. live tourneys
    10. after sunday dinner with ma and pa and cousin su

Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday night tournies in the Fitz, dont have the patience for them very often but when I really need money I play them, easy to limp into the top 4or5

Been asking myself that question for the last while. The Fitz cash games are good, especially on the weekend. Big tournies have been very kind to me of late (the 1-hour blinds, deep stack sort of thing). I've been very disturbingly erratic online. I really am having trouble getting my head around it and I'm probably going to start to play the one thing I havent and the one thing I SHOULD, which is big MTT tournies, the bigger the better.

I just can't seem to get ahead online but its because I play like Leslie and Vernon's secret love child online. :)

Online short handed stt,I built up my on line bankroll playing them and I still play them alot. When playing a MTT it helps me to have a short handed stt open as-well.

Where's the option for Team events??

Short Handed/Full STTs, I'm starting to make a reasonable amount from cash (after getting knocked out on Saturday I went home and won $400 at .50/$1 in about two hours) but STTs are where my guaranteed money comes in every month.

    its mostly been STT's.
specially 6 handed $50 on PPP.
MTT's are good as well but i dont have the time to play them much any more.
recently HU games on PPP have been very good to me.

When things go tits up i go straight from the PC into another room in my hosue as I suffer from the worst tilt and am liable to throw away 4 hours work in one hand if I don't. For me I like to switch to an MTT, cos it's more easy-going then a cash game, which is what I play 95% of the time(6-Handed 0.50/1)

short handed 10/20 limit has been working well for me lately.

I'm finding $10 (online) and €25-€50 (offline) range of MTT's of approx 100-140 runners extremely profitable at the moment, making alot of final tables, online and offline.

Live STT's (why is no casino in Dublin doing them???) also a great little earner.

I find a new game to try to get out of it in.

Theres always a few after the freeroll on a thursday, have tried to get some going on other days but most people are more interested in cash games

Bonuses used to be my bread and butter. Cleared while playing 0.25/0.50 or 0.50/1 NL holdem.

Lately live seems to be proftiable particularly 4/8 stud. I'm not playing long enough though to know how profitable. The lack of a smoking ban also means it may not be too good for my lungs either.
