Can anyone briefly sum up what's been going on in the Spanish league to date this season? I moved out of my house with digital at the start of the season and have yet to sort it out in my new place so I've lost touch a bit.

I saw Revista last week and David Villa's goal against Deportivo was an absolute cracker and then they beat Barcelona tonight, the same man again with the only goal. I was under the impression that Ranieri had left them in a fair mess that would take more than a season to sort out but maybe not.

Any sort of knowledgable summary would be great, nice one.

He left them a great team he just wasn't getting the best out of them for verious reasons, I rate him as a very good manager he's just had a bit of bad luck, he didn;t deserve to be sacked by chelski and if he hadn't so many injuries and players like coraddi et al hadn't been such lazy fecks he'd be there and in the CL.
