Dilemma, Literally!

Hi,

I went out on the town the other night and I was really drunk and at the end of the night. I met this girl... (i dont remember it) the next day my friend tells me that I met this girl and she was really nice. So I checked my phone to see if I took her number and I did. I have been txting her now since the next day. She seems really nice and has asked to meet up. I would like to meet up with her again If she is nice like my friend has said. But my problem is that I have no recollection of what she looks like, not the faintest! What am I supposed to do if I want to meet her because I could pass her on the street or walk into a bar and completely dismiss her. Or if i saw her again could it jog my memory and I would recall the face..

Also, please try and keep the criticism to a minimum as I can see that some people might call me a complete a**h**e but it was just I had so much to drink..

Could you arrange a sort of a group thing. Maybe bring your friend with you to point out who she is. If not, wear a set of headphones and act like you're lost in thought, staring into space. If you see a girl smile or kind of wave at you, it's probably her.

And don't worry, I've heard worse. I've had a friend ring me halfway through a date because she couldn't remember his name.

Be early to the meeting place and wait for her to come to you. When she kind of half waves or says hello just squint your eyes and go 'Ahh there you are! Knew I shouldn't have left my glasses at home!'
If the topic ever comes up again say you've had laser eye surgery since.

Firstly ring the number & speak to your mystery lady....It may be your mates taking the p1ss!!

If you speak to her, arrange to meet up.....in a public place...Clerys clock...for example at a specific time etc..

When you get there 5 mins later than arranged, ring her number & look around to see if anyone else there answers their phone...It might be wise to turn off your caller id (in case she's "not a good looking" as you or your friends have previously drunkenly percieved)

It's worth a go!

Why don't you pick a quiet pub/cafe to meet up in....arrive in plenty of time & sit reading the newpaper/doing a crossword or something similar & seem oblivious to everyone around you...then just wait for her to approach you. Best of luck

I will try to arrange to meet her at a very specific place then find a place to see when she arrives.

Then they said that she is NICE right, and if they saw her first hand then they are probably right.

I reckon go for it mate. I been on blind dates before that I knew they were nice and it was cool.

Better again,get her to send a (dirty) mms of herself. Just arrange to meet somewhere where there will only be one or two people standing around (say entrance to st stephens green or the like, will only be 2/3 ppl standing there at any given time). get your friend to give you her hair colour, height and build. If on the off chance you approach the wrong person no harm done, after all you dont know her.

PS you could also come clean with your one, tell her you just cant remember what she looks like particularly well (so come kinda clean with her ).

Just try to get her to send you a picture of herself. My friend met a guy on Friday night and gave him her number. He wants to meet up and she hasn't a clue what he looks like! And she didn't have any drink on her! They said they would exchange pics so she sent one of her but he sent his one to his mate by accident, so she's still clueless as to what he looks like.

The poor girl. She gets talking to a guy who is plastered beyond belief at the end of the night, they exchange numbers, and she's willing to meet up? Either she's caught up in the Valentine's Day hype or she has really low self esteem.
