Disable nat,How to?

    Does any one know how to disable a nat on a eircom netopia router?:confused:
    Because ive tried port fowarding and it hasent helped.

    im not quite sure what you are trying to do.

    You can setup a RFC 1383 bridge and use PPPoE from the client machine to logon.

    I think what your looking to do is pass all incomming traffic to your computer by default - so that you do not have to forward specific ports. You can do this by enabling "default server" and entering the ip address of your computer. If you have any problems finding this setting then post back here.

    you enter expert mode, then configure, then advanced, then default server, then pick "default server" from the drop down list then enter the ip address of the receiving computer then restart the router.

    do you mean the ip address of the internal network i would be connected to? e.g. if my machine was 192.168.0.10?

    If port forwarding didn't work you did it wrong. Or else you have a firewall installed on your pc which is also getting in the way ?
