most im portant thing, you have to use two cards from ur hand, and three from the board.
so if theres 4 diamonds on the board, and u have the A od diamonds, and no other diamond, u don't have a flush.
best starting hands are AKsAKs or QJs109s.
raise preflop with hands like these!

as for omaha, think in rudimentary values of straights, flushes and full houses, the percentage chance of what is to come versus the value of what you hold or are perceived to hold.
