    Hi,

I did not know where to post this so please move if not appropriate!

I want to bring my GF to a nice hotel for her birthday, one preferabaly with a few facilities, sauna and that type of thing
I was aiming at 150 ish per person.

    Has anyone any recommendations?

Id be looking for somewhere in Dublin.

    Thanks in advance

Try the Clarion by Liffey Valley.
There should be a website for it somewhere.

Or the Beacon in Sandyford, lovely place but not too many facilities.

Stillorgan Park has a Beauty Salon but the rooms are a bit basic for the price you'll be paying.

There are LOADS of websites out there, have a look round!
    Best of luck.

I would so recommend Kilkenny, bit of a drive (there are trains too I think) but its deadly. The Newpark hotel is great with deadly spa etc, was just down there at the weekend - 10/10.

Why dont you get a package holiday, like the south of spain of smth for a weekend. Not much difference in price, but a big difference in area.

Clontarf Castle is very nice....... well the hotel is nice... I think they could have put more effort into the rooms.

If you can get one of the suites then they have nice four poster beds in them.

www.bookassist.com is your friend. I use it all the time for booking hotels. You will get a decent hotel (such as Clarion Liffey Valley) for 69 - 120 PER ROOM per night. €150 per person is way over the mark for a Dublin hotel.

The rooms are not the best, very old, need modernisation.

The schoolhouse hotel in Ballsbridge is really nice. Stayed there a few times. No pool etc but lovely food and a great bar.
