    Hey, my friend wants to apply for the pison officers but they gie no number to ring just go to pubic jobs.ie. This s kinda limiting there applications isnt it? Are they not looking for many or something. I m trying to apply for him but need all this crap just to get a log on to the website

    publicjobs.ie is how they are trying to manage all the Civil Service recruitment now. I think most people, if they were serious enough about a particular job, could get access themselves or via someone they know to make an application.

    don't waste your time complaining their reply will be
    "internet access is available in public libraries"

    even in the private sector, these days online applications only are becoming more and more popular, indeed this is a good thing
