There is supposed to be a Holistic Fair this Sunday, up in the Grand Hotel in Wicklow town.

Is anyone going? Anyone know if its supposed to be any good? There are going to be different stalls for holistic stuff, like Reiki, crystals etc. and tarot readings.

I don't know if I will go or not, I was going to go and get my tarot cards read, but someone told me that the good readers never go to Holistic fairs, anyone know if thats true?

These fairs are on all over the place every few weeks. Any that Ive been to have a pretty mixed bunch of people, from those that sell the foot spas that clear your auras:confused: to tarot, reiki and massage. Youll know if a good reader is there, cos there will be a queue :) . Lots of people give trials of what they do, which are free or much cheaper, so its a good way of testing the water, so to speak.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I went to the fair today, and there really wasn't much at it. There were only 5-6 stalls maximum and there wasn't much of a variety, also there weren't that many people at it.

I got my cards read, some of what he said was spot on but I am not sure if he picked up on it from listening to me talking to other people at other stalls. If you notice the tarot readers at holistic fairs sometimes tend to watch other customers at other stalls, maybe to pick up information? who knows. He also mentioned that I needed reiki, angel cards etc. which was possibly a plug for the other stalls to get me to buy stuff? who knows.
Anyway he said some stuff that was valid.

Thats about it. Maybe there would be more of a variety in a Dublin holistic fair?

I just found this site today as I was looking for links for holistic fairs in Dublin and the surrounding areas. I noticed you were looking for good readers etc. I am a professional Numerologist and Tarot Reader and I have participated in many Holistic Fairs in Co Cork. I would like to comment about how I work at these fairs. I always connect to my spirit guides and angels before hand and ask that the right people come to me for a reading. People who will really benefit from my guidance and support. I am just back from a fair and all the readings I conducted worked really well for both myself and my clients. Anyone who goes to an holistic purely to make money in my opinion they are in the wrong business. Thanks Tina Bee

Hi, Tina Bee. Welcome. I had an angel card reading at a fair once and like you she asked for people to be drawn to her that would benefit from her reading and I must say it was one of the nicest readings I have gotten, very nice lady and very accurate on most accounts.

I find that the people visiting the fair can be a great source of information on certain readers, as usually you are waiting in line to get read and people love to talk about past experience with that reader.

That's a good point you both make - people do like to go on about past experiences when they talk to a reader.Personally I'd be a bit wary of these fairs more from the healing point of view - how can people's energy/aura not get all jumbled up with so many things floating about the place.

They can be good though to at least recognise that there are charlatans out there and decent readers/healers etc should not be tarred with that brush, sort of helps you weed them out by going to the fairs rather than going individually

EDIT - Sorry Tina Bee - welcome!
