Well not quite my horse. I'm involved in a syndicate (5 people) and we own a mare in Summerhill Stud in South Africa. We bred a horse called 'Hear The Drums' and it's running in Fairview at 1:30 pm Irish time (Race 6).
We sold it as a yearling as we are only doing it to have an interest in a mare - we sell them as yearlings. Ideally we dont want to have more than 3 horses at any one time (mare, yearling, foal)

He's moving up a few steps in class but has been progressing nicely. Hopefully he'll keep progressing as we own his dam and half-brother !

    Review here if interested

I won a few quid on its previous run so I'll stick another few quid on for the craic. Pity the race isn't on sooner - wont get a chance to see it in the bookies - think they only show SA racing up until Irish/UK racing starts.

He won at 2/1 !!!! I dont suppose anyone backed it ?!

I got to see it afterall - on SIS in the bookies.

He was headed half a furlong out but battled back!! our mare is getting more valuable by the day !!
