Looking for a New Poker Room

I would appreciate some help here.

Im looking for a poker room with good 1v1 STT's available, goods and soft cash would be a + but not at all necessary.

Rakeback would be a must as you rack up alot of rake playing 1v1.

I have played on Tribeca up until now, with an o.k RB deal, however i'm sick of the gammy software, sounds etc and dire players.

As of late there has been an influx of bad players on tribeca, however on the 1v1 tables i don't seem to be doing aswell as I feel I could be.

I do not want to play bad players in 1v1, I make more money playing better opposition (applies to 1v1, im tired of seeing no hand turn into a winning hand because they thought Q high is great, bluffing an idiot is a hard task)

Rakeback, nice structure 1v1 STT is pretty much what I am looking for.

Pokerstars I have yet to test, ladbrokes - no rakeback, Prima - Joke for 1v1.

Ultimate Bet? I know you can get rb, the software is very good, general player standards are supposed to be quite high.
But I don't actually know if they do 1v1 Stts.

Full Tilt might be another option.

If you are looking for a good structure with plenty of play it has to be pokerstars imo.

1500 starting chips, 10 minute blinds, 5% reg fee.

In particular i like the 4 man semi final games. carry the 3000 chips to final table and lots more play.

you usually get a good standard of players too, but like any site you can find some brutal ones.

    PPP! - don't get me started :D;)

I will be playing there for the irish Open Sats. no bonuses etc. however

Need to find a new poker home, i'll give FT and UB and shot later on in the net cafe (on isdn here)

    Thanks Luke, any other suggestions?

I think the software is the most user-friendly I've come across but each to their own obviously. The sounds can be switched off as I'm sure you know and I've yet to encounter a site with smooth, dulcid tones. The last complaint seems to be the strangest, in other words, you want to switch from a site where you're probably among the best players at the table to one where you're around average.

P.S Stupid question but how do you quote someone and have their name appear above it?

Click on quote before you reply.

Userfriendly or not, it's unreliable, glitchy, I much prefer the microgaming layout, graphics and sound.

Please re-read the original post, in Cash ring games I'll take a table full of muppets, in 1v1 (which is mainly all i play) it's another kettle of fish altogether (excuse the pun).

Good players are easier to bluff than poor players, 1v1 is not about the cards you get, it's about the cards you represent.

I would rather play the infamous whiteskank on tribeca, than an average muppet in a 1k match. I know when skank is bluffing and I can re-raise him, reading a fish is close to impossible!

The most enjoyable game i have played in some time now was against whiteskank, he rarely takes a seat with me these days.

My real claim to fame is taking down Mike Caro in a 1v1 ;)
