Possiblity of working 2 jobs!

    Hi folks,

I am currently only working part-time as an IT Instructor. The money is decent but part-time is really wrecking my head!

I am dying to get back into working full-time!

I am told by a friend who works for this company that I am first in line for an interview for a full time position which should happen shortly which is great news!

But I also applied for a teaching post which is Mon-Fri 6pm - 9pm! The money is usually good in the teaching jobs!

So there is a possiblity that I could be offered both positions! I am intrigued by this as I would be earning a good few bob but then again it would make for a long day and I would probably be exhausted.

I am still living at home for now and I am anxious to earn a few bob and get my own place.

So basically I would be working 9-5 and 6-9 Monday to Friday!

Does anybody else work 2 jobs like this? If so, how are you finding it!

I know a girl who does it on minimum wage, stamina like a bull she has though.

I kind of work two jobs (it's complicated.) Basically, I'm always working.

It works for me because I a little bit obsessed with work, but if I didn't like my jobs I'm sure it'd do my head in.

So enjoying the jobs is the key I think!

And ya still have time to bunt off over 2000 posts.....

    When do you sleep man???

I don't sleep much! Seriously, my body clock is totally ****ed. You'll often see me here at 5 in the morning...

Working two jobs can be done (in a less extreme way!) I admire Polish people (and others, of course) the way they often work two jobs but save the cash to buy a house back home. It's great dedication.

I don't work two jobs but my job has involved some extremely long hours over the last few months. I think that in the short term anyone who is fit and enjoys their work can survive these kinds of hours but occasionally they will catch up for you. Having a target/goal of saving money for something will help on the bad days. If you do it consistently for the medium/long term it will eventually wear you down.
