NTL joins RIPE

    NTL Ireland are now listed as candidate members of RIPE NCC. More than likely they'll start to run their network here independent of NTL UK. I'm sure they'll eventually connect directly to the backbone providers in Dublin rather than through NTL UK.

    That's probably because they haven't had any resources assigned yet. As soon as you get your first block of IP addresses and an AS number you move up a category. I'm sure they'll be up there with Eircom eventually :)
