    Hi

Myself and a friend are thinking of moving over to London in September. I will be looking for a full time job in IT ( I have one years experience ) and my friend will be doing a postgraduate course for 1 year. He is looking for part time work maybe for a day a week or two.

Can anyone here recommend any good IT recruitment agencies over there ?

    Thanks

Just go to jobserve.co.uk - from there get in contact with which ever agency who's handling a job you're after.

Tried exactly that craic you are trying - hadn't enough experience, had one years like yourself, but d'mind me and good luck mate!

there's loads of IT jobs in London

there's loads of IT jobs in london for people with at least 1-2 years experience right, then they're 'disappointed' that you've never dealt with Citrix/Novell/Lotus Notes/Daily interaction with Routers/Switches/AS400 Servers/MS Exchange/ARCserve Configging

and i was going for desktop-y jobs and 1st level type deals... but there's loads.

Not doubting that you can get one - so just try like a mad thing, there is plenty but just persevere! Good luck again

Also if you have a degree, either downplay it or omit it as they think you're a genius with a degree over there - when all i wanted was a level 1 job to pay the rent :)

I cant see who keeping a Degree hidden is good for the CV especially when you are looking to get a job in a related Industry.
