So i heard on the Radio yesterday evening that Metallica are going to play 2 gigs in Europe this June - and one of the gigs will be in Dublin.

The thing is - I only tuned in and got the end of the thing. Did anyone else hear this? I can't see anything on the Metallica site - or Ticketmaster.ie about it.

    Help!

3 gigs in 4 years, better be good support bands this time and the new album better be atleast half decent

I would just hope for those that go that the support is better therefore making the ticket price look more reasonable

There playing download Saturday so I think one of the other bands on that night will be the support.

the metallica site is billing it as Download Ireland, so i wonder if we'll see a similar thing as to what happened in 2003 with Linkin Park, or in 2005 with Iron Maiden, where the event is billed as a festival thingy
