Payment Predicament

Hey all,

I won an auction for a phone on ebay today for 486 euro.

I tried to pay for the phone through paypal but my spending limit is up (i only found that out when i went to pay for the phone) and i have to enroll for the expanded use program, i can't get the number to complete the expanded use program until the end of the month when my credit card statement comes.

I don't want to send the seller a cheque as I got caught for £300 a few years ago through sending a cheque.

Is there any other payment options I could use, I want to use paypal but obviously enough the seller won't wait till the end of the month for payment.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

What about bank transfer or using 3V?

I never thought of 3v, but I think if I added a 3v card to paypal it will still need an expanded use number.

I added a new credit card onto paypal but i still need the expanded use....

I wonder would visa give me a higher limit for a month. The credit card I use though paypal has no paypal limit but it only has a "real" limit of 450 so paypal rejects it if i try to use it.

Can you not call the credit card company and they will after you answer the security questions give you the expanded use number?
