GHO Computers - People my dad and his company use :). For the most part they are reliable and friendly, but can be late on orders from time to time. Can get the number tommorow if you are interested :).

    www.elara.ie
    www.microaid.ie

They are not exclusively trade only but they are geared toward trade rather than retail. Very good service and huge stock.

CCITY are a bunch of gangsters, whoever was there about a year ago barely had a clue about hardware and their customer service is terrible. We had stuff go during warrenty and it was a nightmare to even get them to accept delivery of the systems so that they could check it out. Steer well clear!

Asbis in Knock Airport - next day delivery - very good for anything I've bought http://www.asbis.ie/

if you want to collect same day in Dublin for those panics then Beltronics in Western Ind Est are very good

    Gho Distribution are quite good...

    Several others:
Osmosis Ireland in Swords - All types of IT as well as AV / and CCTV Security
Midia / Emcee - Fujitsu Siemens PCs and Laptops / Creative MP3 Players /
Shaptext - Again Fujitsu Siemens / HPs Printers / Microsoft

Or you could buy from me... :-) Insight IT - I'm a small sole trader, VAT registered - usually deal with business only, but will deal with techie and those with a bit of savvy. I also supply Zyxel Firewall / Routers and VoIP products.

Thanks for all the suggestions, anyone know if Gho have a web address?

I've heard of Sharptext before they seem pretty good, and they have a good range which is important. Anyone here do business with em?

Thanks for the help so far!

I've had good experience with Redstone (formerly Xpert)... very prompt when it comes to all things HP... competitive price as well.

One to avoid like the plague would be Ergo (smartbusiness.ie).

Gho don't seem to have a website... mail garech@gho.ie... he's a sound bloke...

There's also cms peripherals... but you need to be VAT registered for them to deal with you...
