good heatsink for 50E

    sorry but what is a good heatsink for my amd x2 3800+ off komplett.ie . i am willing to pay upto 50E.the reason for buying is to overclock my cpu.

    Go to hitide.ie and get the copper zalman flower. Class heatsink.

    Make sure you use a decent thermal paste (e.g. arctic silver) and use it sparingly.

    Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro, Its around €15 on OcUk, and its really good, silent and it has MX-1 Thermal compund pre-applied

    I also agree It's a great heat sink but I'm thinking of changing mine as it tends to get clogged up with dust where the fins get very close together at the root and needs cleaning out every few months to prevent overheating.

    Go for wate. Asetec waterchill and a nice radiator. Get it at komplett.

    there is small plate on my cpu i think it came with the old coolmaster one so do i take it off.

    i found and in my system water coolers work a treat.

    you could go all out and get a bump system but its a bit more bang for your buck

    Komplett do great deals on water cooling heatsinks
