    hi there:

    my electric window (the actual machine inside the door) for a Hyundai accent has broken, any advice on where they could replace this?
    Modo just quoted me a ridiculous price. Any advice ll be very welcome

    Try ringing around a few local scrap/breakers yards. The Accent is a pretty common car so there are bound to be scarped ones out there.

    Hyundai dealer service isn't great in my experience, but I found Fairview Motors to be the most reasonable. You will save a lot if you can go to them with the part though.

    Exactly....very same experiences from me and the lads at Fairview Motors seem to know best.
