    hey Laluna,

sorry to hear your feeling down in yourself...has there been any change or anything recently that may have set this off? have you sought help for the eating disorder before? i would definityl urge you to go back to your doc before it gets out of hand. post away here and get anything you need to off your chest. sometimes even posting anonymously on the net can help, just to have a place to vent you know. hang on in there ok. zenzen

Hi Laluna. Don't panic, it's quite common for meds to poop out after a
few years - or even a few months! Have a chat with your doc - I'm sure
there are lots of options he/she can offer you :-)

    Bodywise - http://www.bodywhys.ie Phone:01 283 5126.
For help on many subjects including Bulemia and anorexia.

This time of year is hard on not eating all manner of stuff esp if your struggling with stuff in you life.
If you are having issues with your meds talk to your dr about it.
Be nice to yourself, do things to pamper yourself that don't invovle eating.
Go for a walk, take a long, do your nails or watch a movie.

    Hi Laluna

I've had eating disorders for over a decade now- its certainly no way to live.

How have yo dealt with it before and are you seeing anyone for help?
Your GP would be the first port of call, you could take it from there after that.

You know yourself you're never going to fully recover unless you 100% want to, unfortunately the cliche is right, the work is up to you, no one is going to do it for you. Taking that into consideration, how much help do you want and are you willing to give to get yourself well once and for all?
I know, scary questions, but for sufferers they're questions that need to be dealt with before its too late.

    I'm a member of a recovery site....
    http://www.somethingfishy.org
Some of the forums include Anorexia, Bulimia and Compulsive Over-Eating as well as others where you can discuss any related probs.
If you check the site, look for the bulletin boards and have a browse through them. I'm pretty sure you'll find the support and understanding you're looking for, many people post and share their experiences as well as what has worked for them in dealing with their specific ED.

Hope this helps, and that you're doing better very soon:)

hey i am going unregistered for this one because people know me here....i have a male friend with a eating disorder and i didnt laugh when he told me that he takes long showers so that he can get sick while in there, i didnt laugh when he told me that he was being physically abused by his mother etc etc etc...you get the point......just because you are male doesnt make the fact that you have an eating disorder any less significant.

if you have one go to your doctor....more and more males are admitting that they have body issues.
