Im Going WPT LA POKER CLASSIC

Won the Tribeca feeder last night, after it cost me $9 to get in!played it on VC as thats where im playing for their bonusPackage is worth $12500!Im totally buzzing and its on in 2 feckin weeks!I cant wait to play against the guys ive been watching for the last year,it feels like a dream come true!

Pros are just blokes who play a lot. Theres no real difference except experience in big events. All the same in any given event they are just blokes with two cards.... just like you.
Don't be intimidated and just play your "A game", its stood to you so far!

The one thing you should think about is the blinds, they will most likely be far longer then you might be used to. This just means you play a lot tighter as you have loads of time to see what comes your way.

Sit back and watch the other players for the first two or three levels. Dont get ivolved at all especially out of position. Once antes are introduced you can start robbing blinds. Trebling up by the end of day one is ideal but obviously not a must.

My trip to Vegas takes in the new stop on the WPT the Mandalay Bay Poker Championship. It's so new it doesn't have a buy in amount yet. I guess it'll be 10k - which is a little steep for me... and since I'm only worth a packet of Tayto's and a glass a coke - with regards sponsorship etc... I'm going to need to find live sats to the event.

So anything you can find out while you're over there would be cool.

And that's an early shout to anyone else over in Vegas at that time... dates are June 4th - 8th.

Lads thanks a lot for all the best wishes. I really cant wait and dont feel im going over as dead money at all. I feel i have as good a chance as anybody in mtts but at the end of the day the cards need to fall my way and hold up. I will be posting a thread in a couple of days asking for advice from all you WSOP veterans on how to make the most from the trip.

Well done lad. Btw little bit of advice, when you push your money in the middle of the table think of it as not yours anymore, it will let you get away from hands that will cause you alot of harm.

Btw, try not to think of the money on offer for the winner, or any position play this game like you would any online game.

Perhaps, and im only assuming if you have not played a lot of live games try and get a book on tells or something.
