Basically below is my diet (which I changed too) - I am just wondering what can I do to improve it

Gym - normally atleast 1 hour in the morning (3-4 times a week). GOing for weight loss and fitness

    Diet:

    1. Breakfast (after gym, around 9am) Fruit smoothie, bowl of porridge

    2. Lunch: alternating between roll (either brown or white) - normally meat and salad. Or a hot meal

    3. Dinner: (depending on what I had for lunch), I would have the alternative in the evening around 7ish

Could I be doing more for my diet?

Add some fibre to your evening meal - pulses are a good choice.

To be honest dude, your diet is ****.

Plain and simple. Can i assume that you make neither your lunch or dinner and buy them both in shops or the canteen in work????

YOu need to be eating small about 5 to six times a day, three small meals and three snakes are ideal for weight loss. The meals should consist of carbs and proteins, the snacks of just proteins if you can manage it, if not then fruit or some complex carbs.

Get in some healthy fats as well, from fish, olive oil and flax.

Nah , like a sucker i write them out each time.

Phenom, your diet is bad because there are some pretty big gaps between your meals, meaning your metabolism is slowing down a bit over the course of the day. Eat regularly and it will stay humming and you will stay burning calories.

The rolls are going to be bad because the bread is generally crap quaility in a roll. If you want to go for something like this then go for a sandwich with some granary bread or some sort for a better option.

Also, don't forget to drink plenty of water over the course of the day, some people will say 2 litres, i say make sure you urinate clearly 4 times each day and you will be on the right track.

Aha - well besides that, am already doing the water thingy - although I will point out, even though I drink evenly (as opposed to gulping it down), it does leave me feeling a tad bloated sometimes

Yeah, for a lot of people drinking water can be quite uncomfortable!! Just drink what you can, never drink past the comfort zone or you won't want to eat.

Good ideas for lunches. I found the post by G'em to be the most helpfull. Have started bringing 2 portions to work to munch on at noon and then at 3:30.
