unusual graphics problem

Last few days I have noticed my menu items dont display unless I mouse over them in xp, hard to explain so I have attached a screen shot. As you can see i have scrolled, or moved mouse over top half, half way down the file menu, same thing happens if i right click on desktop.....out line of dialog box appears but text…

I have done a virus scan and nothing shows up

some sort of redraw problem? i've only seen this happen a couple of times with a machine that was left on for a long time, maybe try reinstalling gfx drivers
