If you've been on a lad's holiday to one of the Spanish resorts you've seen them all really. Budget hotels, studio apartments, sun and a sleezy night life. I can't really describe it anyother way but it's good for a cheap piss up I suppose.

Ive been to Santa Ponsa with a group of 9 fellas about 2 years ago. We were all about yer age. The previous year we were in Gran Canaria and what a difference. Santa Ponsa is a dump! There is only one street of bars and they are average. There are about 3 nightclubs – and they are rubbish and full of scumbags. Almost every single night we were there, there were fights on the streets between Irish and the Spanish and the cops had a field day with their batons! The Shamrock Bar and The Cocktail Bar are good spots but others are crap! There is some good things though. The beach is class, easily accessible and there are a good few chinese all you can eats!

If you want to have a good time in Santa Ponsa then get urself to Magaluf, its about 10mins away in a taxi. Between 4 of ye that’s nothing. The second biggest nightclub in Europe is there and its brilliant. €30 in and all u can drink or u can go to the “VIP” area where u can get fat frogs for €3! The strip up there is also class and great deals on drinks. All English but u shouldn’t get any trouble unless u go looking for it! A must while ur in Magaluf also is Pirates – its bout €40 but u get food, free drink and its brilliant night! Make sure to go to the adult show at night.. k, njoy!

Gran Canaria is way worse than Santa Ponsa! Magaluf is almost 100% English louts.

I worked for a season in Magalluf and only saw 2 fights. Trouble is only there if you go looking for it. BCM is the ****!! as bar workers we used to get in for a fiver and twas all you can drink from then. Thinking back my head hurts again from the hang over

i went there about 5 years ago with a gang of lads and had a decent time, only probably i found was there was about 10 bloke's to every one girl !! i'm ugly enough without those kind of odds against me !!! but that was 5 years ago maybe its better now

Ive been there twice, had a good time on both occasions.
Not the classiest place ever but if your up for fun you will find it.

BCM is great. Its a must.

There is this great pub me and my friends found nice and quiet during the day and it has a pool out the back. So you can have a bear in the sun then cool down in the pool. Its wicked.

I cant remember exactly where it is.

Have had three lads holidays(same group of 12)was a few years all the same so maybe things have changed. We went to Turkey, Gran Canaria and Santa Ponsa. Out of the three, Santa Ponsa was by far the best!! A lot depends on who you go with so you'll be fine with a group of your mates.
It's been tagged Ballymun in the sun and probably not far off but you get for what you pay for. Plenty of beaches, karting and Aquapark(savage lads day out). We avoided Magaluf as we preferred the pub scene rather than the club scene. If dance music, pills and lager louts is your scene then go for it.
Canaries is a kip!!! Full of drugs, gangsters etc etc etc

I cant believe BCM's is still goin!! I remember paying 1000 peseta's (€6) in 13 years ago! I got a free t-shirt and 2 cocktails!!
It was the the biggest niteclub in Europe back then!! The 2nd now.. I would have thought it would struggle to make the top 10!!

The Shamrock and the Mean/Green Fiddler were the 2 bars of choice I remember in Santa Ponza!! I stayed in the apartments above the Shamrock, whatever there were called??

At the end of the day if its a lads holiday you cant go wrong, how hard is it to get pissed up and shag a bird!! The again if there are 10 blokes per bird!! Get your arse to Magaluf, loads of brits but the birds will love the irish accent!!

If the above doesnt work as far as I remember there was a few brothels fulls of fat aul' ones!!
