Hey, I know there is a similar thread below, but the www.fired.tk audio entertainment show will be doing a piece on funny radio ads, we are lookjing to see which ones stick in your head as being funny (at least the first time you heard them!)
Please keep them within the past year so we have a chance of tracking them down!
    Thank you.

and that supermacs one with the vikings and the janurary sales
oh maybe that lucozade with the radio for the living dead...

No current ones (in fact, the English accents on a lot of Irish radio ads make me switch stations) but I used to love the Red Corner Shop ads with the Internationale and "revolutionary value".

Red Corner Shop. Hmm. Must be about eight years ago? When did the Red Corner Shop close?

If you want a *really* old one, there used to be a brilliant one for Donnelly's sausages in the 1950s or 1960s, to the tune of the Mexican Hat Dance, complete with Tijuana brass band - excellent for those with a clean mind:

    "Double wrappers for double protection
    Double wrappers for double protection
And if your grocer should make a suggestion
Say 'No, it's Donnelly's Skinless for me'."
