With the six Nations almost upon us, I am trying to find which are the best places to watch the games. Better come clean first and say that I am a Welshman recently moved to the West so for most of the games I will be in Galway so any suggestions for there would be most appreciated. I am however going to Dublin for a couple of the weekends so will be searching out pubs there.

Reckon its going to be a really good tight six nations and most games are too close to call.

Freeney's on Shop/Quay Street is always good, as is Tir na Nog (usually pretty busy) and there's usually a big screen in Kings Head.

The Kings head - although it may still be structurally unsound after we beat the english last year.

Well that's subjective. I think it's a great pub to watch rugby in.

Clohessy's isn't the best pub to watch rugby in Limerick, personally I think you can't match the Corner Flag on Henry street, big screen and large flat screen, free bacon and cabbage (seriously) during Irish 6 nations games, free finger food during Munster's HEC games. Pretty small so it feels packed when 50 people are screaming at the screen, highly recommended.

Was trying to keep the Corner flag a secret!!If word got out how good it was the whole country would be there!!Seriously you can have your Kielys and doheny and nessbitts but no place beats the Munster for watching a rugby game!!

In Dublin: Sinnots or Crowes/Paddy Cullens.

Drinking around Lansdowne on match day is by far the best atmosphere and all the crowd going up to the game are there and the streets are buzzing! :) Ballsbridge for me.

If in town I like sinnots.
