hi there, i'm going to Bulgaria in June staying in the Marvel Hotel Sunny Beach and I was wondering has anyone been there before ? any comments etc ??

Bulgaria is a brilliant holiday destination - I fully recommend it. I was there last summer in Sunny Beach. Slanchev Briag, as the Bulgarians might calls it, is probably a great place for Westerners to start off. It is full of tourists and is expanding rapidly, yet it retains an Bulgarian identity.

Great food, very nice people, party atmosphere - it has it all! I have read that some hotels there are a little dingy, probably a minority. Other than that you can't go wrong.

And it's CHEAP!
