    Guys
Just wondering if anyone on here is an auto electrican and how did you get into it?Ive been trying to find courses on it for ages now but Fas have nothing and neither do any of the DIT's

I know abit on installing radios/speakers/amps/subs/split chargiing/powercaps(mostly sound system orientated stuff) but ive also some knowledge of alarm wiring, mainly cliffords.

Basically im looking for training or do to something that would certify me as an auto electrician

    Any help appreciated!

Good luck, the best way in might be to approach exisiting auto elec shops, they tend to be one and two man ops but one of them might take you on as an "appentice" if you can show you have some skill ie that audio/alarm work.
If not they might be able to point you in the right direction.

    Mike.

Ive asked in two car audio places already and they guys said they "trained themselfs" from helping others out, they didnt do a specific course.

Tried a local main dealers just for info and one of the mechanics said they have to get a specialist in for some work that his only electrical knowledge is changing fuses and connecting an iso block on a radio!

Working shift at the minute so ive most days free so would be more than happy to lend a hand for free to gain some more expierence but as yet havnt found somewhere to take me on
