I downloaded some update, but it hasnt seemed to do anything, like to the dashboard or anything!


(Oh and anyone no how to get my xbox profile thing workin down der in my sig?)

Got it too. It disconnected me from live, then told me I had to download an update to reconnect.

Has anyone actually noticed any difference as yet? cause I can't say I have but then I was only on for half an hour after it installed

i noticed it seems to make call of duty 2 work cause i had a few games and the room was full and not one bit of lag.



what is all this about the demo disc anyway? what are people doing with it?

Call of Duty doesn't lag all the time, it all depends on the hosts upload speeds. If they have a fat upload then they can host lag free games. Unfortunately the majority of Iirsh people have pants upload speeds.

The demo disc had no copy protection on it. So it was possible to download a copy, burn it to dvd and use it. It opened up modding possibilities, but not anymore

There was rumours people used it to get insanely high scores in Hexic, but I'm not sure how true that is

Nope thats a glitch, DOA reports are coming out saying its really really glitchy, putting me off getting it.

im really enjoying it tbh. i have seen slow down but most of he time i dont get it.

thats very wierd..... just tried myself there and was able to....
