Valentines Day...Just for Girls?

Hey Guys and Girls

Just wondering what your thoughts are on how to make Valentines Day special for the Boyf as well?

Was hoping to take him out for dinner as I got the impression that he was getting me flowers, but now he's gone and booked a table!

Everything out there seems targetted at a female audience, and sorry if I seem a bit old fashioned but I'd feel like a bit of a plonker showing up at my boyfs gaff armed with flowers and chocs for him

Any guys out there remember any good valentines day treats they received?

It depends on what he's into really but I think if you're a happy couple then a night in with just you, pizza and a bottle of vodka/wine/whatever would be enough.

Its definitely more a day for girls to be spoiled, guys arent pushed about what they get tbh

JUst for girls??? i would say just for retailers..its another example of the evil of marketing people and how they make things more difficult for everybody....used to be you would just get card(maybe flowers) and i bet even that wasa pi$$er for blokes in the 50's or whenever hallmark started this sh!t.... now your missus wont be happy unless your taking her away for the weekend...what the fack is going on?

My boyfriend will be working Valentines night, so I wont see him . If I could spend it with him, I'd take him out for dinner before retiring to a posh hotel for the night.

Yea gift doesn't have to be romantic. Concert tickets, dvd, video game, clothes, whatever.

My gf took me out to dinner last year but looks like he beat you to that.

And yea the sexy underwear is always a winner.

Actually, I hadn't thought of the underwear thing, that's an idea...

I was going to get him roses or something like that...already got him a teddybear before so I won't do that again

Unless they're the chocolate kind I wouldn't. A guy wouldn't appreciate roses. The money you spend on roses would be better spent on something else imho.

I got him a rose before and he was VERY happy about it, apparently he's not too used to gifts.
He tried to dry it out and all.
Don't worry, I know him well enough to know what to get.
