lexsor 32 lcd sky remote code

    Any installers here got a sky remote code for a Lexsor 32 lcd model number
    881-62875-130 we tried sky, interactive and hand manuals with no luck
    thanks. by the way it's not a Luxor

    the remote code for lexsor tv's is 1224

    Hi All,
    I tried to program in the 1224 magic codes for a Lexsor LCD TV.....and that's where my problems begin!!

    The remote doesn't accept the code?? I have read somewhere that there are different versions of the Sky Remote firmware, which makes sense as my Sky+ system is much older than my TV so I would assume the code for this TV wouldn't of existed when the remote was manufactured....unless Lexsor are using a code with an existing manufacturer???

    My information is that this code is unique to Lexsor so my question is two-fold.... how can i find out what firmware version my remote is and if it is an "early" version how can i update the damn thing???

    Any help is appreciated.

    The version is on a label inside battery compartment. If it has no label it is version 1

    The last I got was Version 5 and isn't even programmed exactly the same way. You can buy a new remote on its own, or part of a remote "sky eye" pack. Check version in shop incase it is old stock.

    Latest version Sky+ remote is version 6, available in Argos / Atlantic Homecare etc.

    Might be cheaper on the net.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

    So I take it nobody knows of a way to update the remote control firmware??

    Do you think sky may update it for free?? Is it worth a try??

    You update by getting a new remote ...

    Sky usually charge more for a replacement remote than the local shop.
