Browser Disconnects

    I hope this is in the right forum...
    Why does my browser disconnect automatically after 30 minutes?

    I know it does after 30mins of inactivity. But if I'm in the middle of downloading something or surfing why does it still disconnect is there a way of changing it.

    OS: windows XP
    ISP: Eircom
    IEV: IE 6

    Is there anyone who can help me it's really annoying.
