is there a quick way to find the config ip of a router? i dont have the manual and google searches have got me nowhere. the router's polish or some such

did u try ipconfig /all in the dos prompt??
should give you everything

To find the WAN address of the router, assuming it is a home broadband with NAT.

go to www.showmyip.com

To find the ip address of the local interface on the LAN,

Start
Run
CMD

When the dos prompt comes up type

ipconfig

The default gateway is this IP address

ipconfig worked thanks. and i spent an hour making a vb program that pings all possible 192.168.x.x addresses until it hit one
