IMO you weren't in a possition where you had to win any pots (for the time being) so getting into the hand with A10 was probably not the thing to do.

You had a read on the villian ("Villain is big stack and has been using it to bet at many pots"). So when the flop came 7c Qs Tc, it is reasonable to assume that he could have had any queen or 2 clubs. I would of personally bowed out here, or prehaphs tryed another bet at it, and then check the river.
