Hey, looking for ideas, im finishing today in my current (part-time) job which pays by the week, and starting a full-time internship tomorrow, which pays by the month, now unfortunately i had to buy a whole new exhaust for my car etc... and various other crap which has led to me only having enough money to last about 2 weeks at a stretch...

has anyone any suggestions of handy jobs to earn a bit of cash to tide me over until my first pay cheque? (in march)
i was thinking deliveries for a take away of some kind, but curious to see does anyone have any other suggestions?

If you've exhausted all possibilities get an overdraft.

id like to avoid going into debt if possible, id rather not have to spend my first pay cheque repaying an overdraft from the bank/loan from friends etc...

im not talkin any major amounts, im a student living at home so ive no rent or anything to pay, just a car to pay for and run,i could manage on about €100 per week for a couple of weeks.

I always found that site useless; it's just as populated with crap as Jobs.ie and doesn't actually have any focus on real nixers/PT work

Let me know if you've any brainwaves. I'm constantly running out of cash. Getting paid monthly is the devil's invention. I beat my own previous record over Christmas, turning E1400 (December 24th) into minus E230 (January 4th.).

spot on, very poor content. however many marketing companies are on there looking for reps "nationwide". this may seem like a nothing post but in this case i think the OP should apply to all these.

i got two promo jobs from this site, and it was easy money, one was five hours on a saturday night, 10 euro and hour and free drink!

    so its worth a go.

Hur hur! If you're serious and you have actually applied, then best of luck, it'll be no bother for ya to get the job.

Have to agree about nixers - and, funnily enough, it is actually owned by the same folks as jobs.ie. They seem to share the content entirely...and no actual focus on part-time work at all. Rubbish.

One of the lads on here is working on dole.ie, apparently it compiles all the job databases together - looking forward to that
