ok my sister passed away 2yrs ago my father almost 4yrs I have dreams
of them both quite regular. But the one i had 2 nights ago really scared me
my sister was a white statue in the shape of a dome no legs just a dome,
she had 1 carved eye and a mouth that was slanted no nose or eyebrows
she was hopping beside me as we walked my father was there but he had a black suit on and looked great with a red flower in his top pocket.Anyway
my grandaughter was shot in the side of the head and the bullet could not
be removed we were told she would be fine but i kept questioning this
then my husband who is a builder came home from work in his work clothes and
announced he had cancer and that i would be all on my own shortly.I have shortened this dream/nightmare but it has freaked me out I was nearly gonna
take the day of work as i was really anxious about the meaning of all this this has to be the worse dream i have had since i was 7 and would appreciate
anyone who can explain what it really means.
    Thanks for reading:)

I'd say it's just fatigue or stress really getting to you. I had a pair of dreams about a month ago, one was where I did something physical to my brother and when I woke up I felt absolutly horrible! I was shaking, thinking it was all subconcious hate for him. I mean brothers naturally fight, and we used to a lot, but these days (for the past 4 years) we have been getting on great.

the other dream was one where both my parents were in mortal peril. my dad had his legs blown off somehow (don't ask) and my mom had some internal thing like cancer. once again I woke up shaking. but those dreams happened around the time of my christmas exams, so it was just stress.

so I'd say, in your case, it was just stress

Right I had my first nightmare in a long time last night. I dreamt that I was in a house and wanted to open this big chest that contained various random items...but there was something wierd about the chest and I could sense that it was evil, I still wanted to open it wierdly enough..Anyways thats when a man and a woman came into dream and were convincing me not to open it up and to get rid of it.. so I agreed, I was carrying the chest down the hall and it was really heavy and it kept falling..the woman was talking all the time to me and telling me what to do with it, she eventually opened the front door for me and gripped me by the arm, holding me with her gaze, I can remember vivdly her white teeth for some reason and it was at this point I knew that she was evil too..anyways she caught me by the arm, made the sign of an upside down cross on me and then I woke up...for the record I had had an extremely upsetting day and was probably a bit stressed, also I had been reading this book on the paranormal recently and that probably had alot to do with my overactive imagination..but I was so scared when I woke up, I started praying and all and put on the radio loud (but not too loud to wake up everyone else in the house) just to try and normalise myself..it was so scary, I am still quite shook after it..

Fruitcake, Have no qualifications in dream analysis whatsoever,:D but that dream would mean to me that I am trying to get to the bottom of something, find out information, or tell something thats been troubling me. Unload a burden, in other words. But your mind (the people) is saying, no, dont do that, no good will come of it. The fear part? Well were practiacally brought up on horror films, so your mind will do that to ya.:)

You asked what people think so dont take offence to anything i say.

I think this shows that you have someone in your life (this is the person trying to hold your soul in) who you hold in very high regard - you have them on a pedistal, they are your protector and you feel you could not live without them. You may feel that you need this person and can not be self-reliant. i think you should focus more on yourself and get some you time, you need to become more confident and self-sufficiant. Its great to have someone in ur life that you can love so much but they shouldnt be a crutch.

I also think that maybe you went through something in your life that you cant cope with (represented by the black figure) and maybe you should talk about it out loud and face up to it a bit.

As i said its just what i get and i may not be explaining what i feel the right way.

    6th

oh and pm me if you think i got anything right.

I'd say it means that you haven't really come to terms with your loss consciously and that you're repressing some of the natural grieving process.
