Adding a Remote site to network

What is the best option for adding another 8 users in a different office to an existing Windows 2000 network?

The remote site has a bunch of 95/98 machines on a novell network, the plan is to ditch their network and replace them with xp pro machines that log on to the main network. Would it be better to have a small network in the remote office that uses the main server as its PDC or would it be better to get the remote machines just to log onto the server. The remote site will be running an accounts app from the main site.

Both sites have BB although neither has a static IP, i'd assume thats the first thing to sort. I would obviously hire someone who was qualified to do it, I just dont want them to give me a yarn :)
