    Is it nearly March?! :(

    What's you predictions?

I think Ferrari are either gonna come back really strong or are gonna be the same as last year. They'll either be really hot or really cold, no in between. Look at what they did after 2003, blitzed 2004.

How committed will Michellin be with their withdrawl at the end of the year?

I think Toyota might grab a win this year.

With Adrian Newey at Red Bull they might grab a podium, depending on how much input he's had into the new car.

I'm guessing Midland are gonna be the new Minardi. I can see Williams slipping a whole lot more too. With BMW running in the lower points at a few races.

Super Aguri are in now, so Midland will be 2nd to last.

Cant really see past McLaren, Honda, Renault or Ferrari ,

    To finish in that order

Renault and Honda seem to be on top in the Barcelona test and Ferrari and Mclaren are a bit off them with their new cars. I know it's early still but it's all michellin at the top really
The rest will probably remain the same as last year with Sauber and Red bull and toyota in the low points

McLaren will be extreamly strong this season, i think Renault will have trouble holding on to their crown. Ferrari will be on a charge to the top. Williams will probably struggle keeping pace with the manufactuers and holding back the surge from Honda.

my guess for next years team positions:

    1. McLaren
    2. Renault and Ferrari
    3. Toyota
    4. Honda and Williams and BMW
    5. Red Bull
    6. Midland and Toro Rosso
    7. The new team headed by the ex jap f1 driver (theyve just been given the green light to race this year. theyl be using 3 or 4 year old arrows chacis before introducing their new car mid to late season)

i think people are playing up honda way to much.... fair enough, they might be after a few good tests but i dont think honda will ever be the team to beat in formula 1..... there a middle team, (like the old sauber team) htey never win unless something drastic happens and they wont be in the last 4 to qualify... im not expecting much from them....

When it comes to what i expect from the season, its clearly a three horse race, Ferrari, McLaren and Renault. Im not just saying it because im a fan, but i really think ferrari are going to hit back in a big way..... i think were going to see a turn around along the lines of what renault did last year. I've already backed Michael Schumacher to take the drivers crown, and return the NO.1 badge to the nose of his car next year.

I dont expect anything from super aguri or midland......

I dont know what to say about williams..... they will be interesting. i still dont think we've seen the best out of mark webber yet.

    Not much else to say really..... COME ON SCHUMI ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

nobodys playing up Honda. its simple, next year they are gona be good. With Rubens and Button thay have two drivers capable of podiums and also if the cars quick enouh, winning races. how can you say honda are a middle team? two years ago they finished second! I dont support honda, but when you look at their history (getting Jordan victories victories in 1999 and 1998 for a start), they know how to win. Honda are gona pump money into the team cos they dont want to be beaten by their arch rivals toyota.

the fact that the new f1 team (super aguri) is going to be backed by honda, basically making it their b-team, is a testament to their intentions in f1

If McLaren can get their reliabilty problems from last season sorted I do believe they will be the team to beat in 2006. This season will be make or break for Montoya regarding Alonso joining them for 2006.

However with all the introduction of the V8 powerplants this season it can be hard to predict who will be the squad to beat.

I'm expecting Ferrari to come back strong this year.
Renault will challenge and I expect Toyota to challenge for wins (they have to challenge!)
Honda need a better season than last.
Williams? they are either going to have an amazing season with the Cosworth V8's or a disaster. Sadly I reckon it will be the latter and I do fear for them without a manufacturer and going by the launch of the new car, a lack of sponsors too.
BMW Sauber I think will be a surprise.
Red Bull I think will get stronger but it will be intriging to see how their 3rd and 4th cars on the grid do.
    Midland will struggle
    so will Super Aguri.

good to see a new team on the grid even if they are thrown together, 22 cars sounds good hopefully more in the future years.

All I hope for this season is less politics and more racing and a lack of Indianapolis disaters!

Ach 4/5 wks yet lads! :|

McLaren to stomp the opposition this year, Kimi or JPM take yur pick.

It might be Monty cause rumour is that Kimi has already signed a Ferrari contract+ McLaren are making very supportive noises about JPM this year.

Only worry is that Kimi is complaining about teh Merc V8 isnt as quick as maybe what hes seen in testing.

Ferrari will come back, but they prob wont see the domination years of 2000>2004. IF Schumi can at all he will fight his way into the championship battle. If the car is a dog he will retire, this is probably his last year in F1. If Ferrari has signed Kimi would Schumi stay?

Massa will be sometimes be quick and then crash a lot, doubt if he'll even win a race.

Renault Alonso has made the smartest move of all, Renault have been v lucky last year, the slow(er) and steay won the race to both titles this year. they wont be as lucky 2 yrs in a row, will the Reggie be professional enuff to give their full support to their quicker driver? (who's leaving)
Alonso will win a good few races this year, Fisi might have a resurgent yr as he needs to feel the support of the team, which he will this year. Fisi will rack up some good results, maybe Monaco.

Williams jury is out on Nico, good in F2 but will he be good in F1?. Another testing year for Webber, lost concentration and results took a nose drive last year. Webber is a top lvl driver but needs better equipment. If the Cossie is good they might get a shock result.
    >+v Smart move signing Alex Wurz and Narian as testers.

Toyota. >>>>Toyota will win this year. Trulli is such a better driver than Ralf. Jarno will really really really shine in qualifying this year. Its as if they designed it for his benefit!!! :D Trulli will win a couple >Monaco???!!!! Ralf might get one if it falls into his lap LOL
Toyota are way better than Honda because the team are technically better and their team setup is very professional.

Honda -seem to be very strong, will win (possibly) Rubens will bond very quickly because of Team Boss Gil De Ferran, if the car goes well then Rubens will dominate Button( times up >100gps no wins, jsut because hes british doesnt mean hes any good, get the impression he just doesnt want it enough)

BMW Heidfeld only decent driver they have. Predcition Jacques will be gone before Monaco. Is a Class A waster, hasnt been at the races for about 4 years now ) Nick will grab this opportunity with both hands, might get a surpise result this year, but BMW are goin to struggle.

Red Bull and Squado Torro Rosso DC usual 'ultimate professinal job' again good result here and there, if car any good will get v good result. Luizzi will get stronger and stronger the more seat time he has. Klein only racing beacsue of Red Bull connections> journeyman.

Midland bunch of wasters, gald they arent using the Jordan name, russian owner only bought to sell on, payola drivers, no money spent on team/car dev/testing again.

Super Aguri....tailenders but F1 needs its comedy team :D NO KATO NOT NOW U FOOL!!! er NO SATO not now u fool....BANZAI!!!!!!! :D:D:D LOL
at least if the they sign Sakon Yamamoto they will have one decent prospect.

Klien was so much better than Liuzzi last year!

not by much if anything....plus Klein has had a full yr as a Jaguar driver the year before, Luizzi has had to give up his seat after every 3 races< not ideal its your rookie year in F1.

They were even steven but Liuzzi has huge future potential but we've seen all Klien has to offer.

klein performed better than luizzi last year, but i havent seen enough of the italian yet to see how good he is, hopefully toro rosso will give him a good enough car this year for him to show what he can do
