Does anyone reckon that all the roadworks at Kinnegad and Kilcock is a ploy to get people to use the M4 Toll. I swear its added up to 10 mins to my journey.

Possibly and I hope it works too. That road is lethal...The less cars on it the better.

Either that, or maybe it's got to do with the fact that the Meath/Kildare CoCo decided it would be better to carry out road works after the new road opened and the traffic levels fell on the old N4.
Who knows?
