    Hi,
Just wanted to know has anybody ever done one of these? What was your top score? Would this be a fair indication of how fit you are?
    Thanks

15, 20 or 25 metres? It's very much a thing you need to practice if you want to get good at it I found. I can run continuously on a treadmill for 30 minutes but the stopping and starting and turning threw me off when I tried one out. Have an open source mp3 of a beep test somewhere if you want it?

Great idea. Post it up if you can mate.

Do you know what distance it applies to?

the last time I did a bleep test was back in 1st year, nearly 11 years ago. I remeber it because it came down to myself and another guy who went on to play soccer in England, so he was fit. We went up to the mid 12's I think. I was so determined to beat him, but in the end I justcouldn't keep going....:o

Can I get that off you too if possible?

It's for a 20 metre shuttle run. If you finish 20 metres before the beep you have to wait until the beep to start again.

    Oh and it's a 10MB download!

I did this with a team i train last tuesday. Most of the feedback was very positive. No one wanted to be the first to quit and most of the lads really pushed themselves. Nothing like competition to bring out the best in players! We have a rough idea of what levels fellas reached so when we do the test again in a couple of weeks we will be able to see if they are getting fitter.
