Totally disagree and I think you'll find that most people will. Brilliant game.

I actually found it a bit meh as well. It looked nice, but not amazingly nice enough to warrant those fecking unbelievablely huge rec. specs.

As for the game itself, fairly scary, but just....didn't find it all that involving really. Maybe just my taste, but I'd have to say I didn't find it overwhelming either.

well for 20 euros i'd try my luck because let's be honest here, there's not a lot of shops in ireland that you could get this game (or any newish release) for 20 euro

Yeah, that's definately a fair point. If you have a great rig then it's nearly worth it for the visuals alone really. Nothing would showcase your new beast better. I did love the combat bits, all the effects, chunks out of walls, smoke, plaster clouds, particles, sound effects......they were undeniably superb moments.

Although you'd really want an amazing rig. I can't for the life imagine how sh!te it would be with minimum or even medium spec. I have a 3.4ghz, 1gig ddr2 ram and a 256mb x800 and STILL had to turn alot of the advanced crap off/switch to medium.....be warned potential buyers! :v:

It should run fine if you turn soft shadows and volumetric lights off and everything else high with any kind of mid to high end machine. If you can though, turn volumetric lights on. Looks fantastic - especially in the later levels.

I loved this game. Took a while to get into it but one you get out of the water treatment plant and into the offices its fantastic. Decent story too.
