Okay folks, we all know that leading up to any big fight the rumours start to fly! An intersting one I came across was that Randy is training with Arlovski on his striking. We all know that Lidell packs a knockout punch, so training with another big hitter would be a good idea.

If it's true do you think Arlovski would be able to teach Randy anything knew? Do you think it could have any effect on the possible outcome? Might Chuck get suckered in to standing with Randy only to be met by a technically sweet knock out punch?

Or is it all just internet rumour and rubbish? :D

if you listen to the sherdog.com radio show they interview randy and he confirms this, it was a week long session as far as i can make out ,
forrest griffin was there too, I think he has left team quest and moved to Las Vegas to get away from issues with his divorce and get a new focus and a chnage of scene .

Score! Cheers for that, the MMA sites i can get to in work are limited , autoblocker keeps classifying them as being "extreme".

    Bull**** or what!

I found the pics from a link on sherdog. Arlovski is a monster compared to Randy, it surprised me. There was pictures of them sparring and wrestling. I don't think he is training with arlovski in hopes of knocking out Chuck, but it should help his stand-up tremendously. For when he is setting up the takedown! Training with him would help all parts of his game considering arlovskis well rounded skills (Tim Sylvia fight)

I read on MMAWeekly randy had said he's looking forward to dropping chuck on his head, so I reckon Randy is going back to basics to get his title back, and training with the best striker in the UFC will definitely prepare him for anything Chuck can dish out. Not slagging chuck now, but if randy learns to get past the striking of arlovski then chuck should be a breeze, after that the takedown will be no probs, so i guess it's up to Randy to keep him down for the g'n'p

And maybe Randy picked up something new about passing guard from Arlovski's Sambo?

aye, or, just taking the legs chuck leaves wide open when he's trying to scramble to his feet from the mat for a nice lock
    :)
Randy is nothing if not an evolutionary fighter.

But Chuck has apparently made more changes to his game, so either way it's going to be interesting!!!
    can't wait!!!
